Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Danny Weber, doing business as Solar Care HQ (“we”) collects through Solar Care HQ, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: our customers (the businesses and their staff who use the app) and property owners whose buildings appear in our lead data.

1. Customers: what we collect

  • Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed by our login provider), and your company's name and contact details.
  • Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive payment status and the last digits of a card, never the full card number.
  • What you enter in the CRM: customers, contacts, notes, call logs, jobs, routes and invoices. We process this only to run the Service for you; you control it.
  • Usage and technical data: sign-in times, the pages and actions needed to run the app, and server logs (IP address, browser).

We use one cookie set to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell customer information, and we do not track you across other websites.

2. Property owners: what our lead data contains

To help solar cleaning companies find buildings that already have panels, we compile information about buildings, not people:

  • Location: street address, map coordinates, building outline and county parcel number (APN).
  • Solar evidence: whether panels appear to be present, their estimated size, the source and date of that evidence, and a small aerial image of the roof.
  • Building permit records released by counties and cities (permit number, dates and description).
  • For commercial buildings only: the public business listing (name, phone, website).

These come from public sources: government building permits and records, U.S. Department of Agriculture aerial photos, OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps, commercial mapping data and the U.S. Census geocoder. We do not collect homeowners' names, phone numbers or emails. Our customers may add their own notes and contact details after they talk to someone; that information belongs to the customer who entered it.

Paying customers can see the buildings in the areas they unlock, to offer their services. We do not give this data to data brokers, advertisers or anyone else.

3. Remove your property

If you own or live at a property and do not want it in our lead data, email danny@attractandclose.com with the address. We will remove it from every customer's leads and confirm when it is done (normally within 15 business days). You can also ask what we hold about an address.

4. How we use information

  • To run, secure and support the Service, and to bill for it.
  • To improve lead accuracy (for example, learning from customers' “Confirm solar” and “Not solar” answers).
  • To send account email (sign-in links, receipts, important changes). We do not send marketing email without your consent.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. Who processes it for us

We use service providers that handle data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms:

  • Supabase (database, login, file storage) and Netlify (website hosting).
  • Stripe (payments) and our email provider (account emails).
  • Modal (runs scans), and mapping and image-analysis providers. These receive aerial roof images and map coordinates, not customer account information.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a buyer if the business is sold, under this policy.

6. Keeping and protecting it

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access limited by company account. We keep customer data while your account is open and delete it within 90 days after it closes, except records we must keep (such as payments). Lead data is refreshed as new records arrive.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for leads. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will not treat you differently for using them. Email danny@attractandclose.com; we may need to confirm your identity or your connection to an address before acting, and will reply within 45 days. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your written permission.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes and contact

We will post any changes here and update the date above; for significant changes we will also notify customers by email or in the app. Questions: Danny Weber, doing business as Solar Care HQ, danny@attractandclose.com.
